The Lighthouse of Cabo Mayor presides the entrance to the Bay of Santander. Privileged balcony overlooking the Cantabrian sea and in the city is now one of the most emblematic and evocative for citizens and visitors of Santander.

Located in the extreme northeast of the city, the area where is located the Lighthouse of Cabo Mayor is part of a larger area consisting of the headlands of Cabo Mayor and Cabo Menor.

It takes 30min to walk from "El Sardinero" to "El Faro" on the path on the clifs aroung the golf course of Mataleñas. Trust us, this is a scenic walk you don't want to miss!
